Fun First Gathering!

Apologies for the delay in posting this update. Our first playgroup get-together on April 4 was great. Although small in numbers, it's the beginning of a fun group. I have gotten many responses from others interested in joining, but just couldn't make it to the April 4 play date.

Our next play date will be Friday, April 18 at 10:00am. We'll be getting together at the same place as before, which is the playground next to the county volleyball courts on North 8th St. From Hwy 90, you turn left (north) just past Moody's Chevron

and it's up about a block on the left.

We plan to get together regularly every other Friday. Meaning, we will meet again on May 2, then May 16, and so on. Once more people are involved, we can possibly change to another day if that would be easier, or another time, or even another location. They are limitless possibilities.

CORRECTION!!

So sorry - my error!

The April 4th meeting will still take place at the playground on North 8th Street. However, this playground is NOT located next to Lyons & Lyons CPA. It is actually right before the county volleyball courts. Lyons & Lyons is not located on North 8th Street, they are another block over. That is my error - sorry to have confused anyone!

First Organizational Meeting!

The MacClenny Playgroup Pals is now underway!

We will have our first organizational meeting on

Friday, April 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.

It will be at the playground located on

North 8th Street in MacClenny,

between Lyons & Lyons CPA and the

county volleyball courts.

This playgroup is open to all moms and dads of children ages infancy through preschool, who live in the Baker County area. There is no descrimination based on race or religion...all are welcome!

The goal of the organizational meeting is to share ideas about when and where to meet for playgroup time. In the beginning, we hope to meet every two weeks. If time allows, we may eventually meet on a

weekly basis. We hope to add family events and field trips, as well as "Mom's Night Out" events in the future.

We are only the organizer here, and want every mom and dad to feel that this is their playgroup and all opinions will be heard.
